One code, several destinations
The same printed symbol can send a German phone to a German page, an iPhone to the App Store, and everybody else to the site — without reprinting anything.
Rules, read from the top
A scan takes the first rule whose conditions all hold. Every condition inside one rule has to hold together, so “Germany and mobile” is one rule rather than two — which is the part most tools in this category cannot do at all.
A fallback that cannot be removed
Everybody who matches no rule goes somewhere you chose. A set of rules that can match nothing would be a printed code resolving to nothing, so we do not let you build one.
Link previews get the truth
A Slack unfurl, a search engine or an email scanner takes the fallback rather than triggering your rules. They fetch from a data centre, on a desktop, usually in another country — so the card in your channel shows what a person will really get rather than what a robot happened to match. Nobody else in this category does that.

Does this work on a code I have already printed?
Yes, as long as it is a dynamic code. The symbol never changes — the rules decide where it goes when somebody scans it.
What happens if none of my rules match?
They go to the fallback, which every rule set has and which cannot be deleted. It is also what link previews and automated traffic always get.
