Lynkarr Alerts

Text alerts about your QR codes and links

Lynkarr can send an alert as a text message when something happens to a code or link in your account: its first scan, traffic that is far from usual, a destination that has stopped loading. Texts go only to numbers whose owners asked for them and then confirmed from the phone itself. They come from +1 (855) 965-2722.

How a number is added

  1. A person signed in to a Lynkarr account opens Settings, then Text alerts, and enters a mobile number: their own, or a colleague's who asked for the alerts.
  2. They tick the box beside the form, which says what the texts are, that message and data rates may apply, and how to stop. The box is never ticked for them.
  3. We send that number one text asking it to confirm.
  4. Alerts start only when the number's owner replies YES from that phone. If they never reply, nothing more is sent.

This is the form, as it appears in the account's settings:

Verification codes

Separately from alerts, Lynkarr texts a one-time code when you ask for one: to confirm a mobile number while creating an account, or as a second step when signing in. You type your number into the form, press the button to be sent a code, and one text arrives with it. Nothing else is sent to that number unless you also add it for alerts above. A code is never sent without being asked for, and it is not a subscription, so there is nothing to stop.

A verification codeLynkarr: your verification code is 482913. It expires in 10 minutes. If you did not ask for it, ignore this message.
